Kate Middleton’s public appearance at Trooping the Colour is the most positive news for the royal family this year, following challenging months, including cancer treatments for her and King Charles. Accompanying her family on the Buckingham Palace balcony brought Kate appraisal by experts for her appearance and outfit, despite some opinions on the color choice. She looked healthy and happy, with a body language expert noting she seemed to have a different agenda than just being the center of attention.

Ever since she disclosed her cancer diagnosis with the public, many wondered when she would be able to return to her royal duties.

According to the Palace, her appearance at the meaningful event that celebrated King Charles’ official birthday doesn’t mean Kate is able to be involved in royal engagements as she is still receiving treatment and needs to rest.

In a post she shared on Instagram a day prior to Trooping the Colour, the princess explained that she has good days and bad days. “On those bad days you feel weak, tired and you have to give in to your body resting. But on the good days, when you feel stronger, you want to make the most of feeling well,” she wrote among the rest.

“I’m looking forward to attending The King’s Birthday Parade this weekend with my family and hope to join a few public engagements over the summer, but equally knowing I am not out of the woods yet,” Kate added.

I am learning how to be patient, especially with uncertainty. Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal. Thank you so much for your continued understanding, and to all of you who have so bravely shared your stories with me,” she concluded her post.

During her first public appearance in months, Kate also fulfilled her role as a mother. She directed her children on how to behave, and it appeared that they all performed admirably.

“The King had a good muster of the Royal Family, minus, of course, Prince Harry and Prince Andrew. But he won’t mind, it was his day. But the star of the show was the Princess of Wales,” royal expert Michael Cole told GB News.

“Such dignity, such elegance, such stoicism and steadfastness, bearing the burden that she’s bearing, bringing up her children so brilliantly,” he continued. “Being a princess, being a wife, being a public figure, and the most popular member of the Royal Family.”

Speaking of the decision to be part of the King’s celebration, Cole said that although doctors would have been “paramount” in her decision, Kate is still the one who has the final say.

“The doctors would have been paramount in this decision. She would have taken very, very careful advice of the physicians to see whether she could do it,” Cole told GB News.

“I thought at best it would be that she would make an appearance on the balcony. The fact is she’s been sitting there for the whole thing, which is nearly two hours, and she looks great. And I’m quite sure the crowds will think it well worth their while, despite the many who have had a glimpse of her.

“They’ve been as upfront as they possibly want to be, and they’ve made it sure that everybody else who’s suffering similarly is included.”

Trooping the Colour is a beloved tradition which was started back in 1748 by King George II. As this day celebrated the head of the monarchy, Kate made sure she wasn’t the center of attention, letting King Charles be the most important person on the day which marked and celebrated his official birthday.

Body language expert Judi James spoke to The Sun and explained, “In a tradition created by her husband’s granny, Kate’s body language here showed the world what being a royal is all about: elegant, calm, and stoic with not one smallest jot of self-pity or drama.”

James added: “Kate’s non-verbal messages seem to signal a smiling determination to reassure the public and her own children and to get on with the job. She made it clear in her written message that this is a step towards a return, not the start of it but even from the glimpses of her in the carriage her upright back and her signature smile showed a desire to show resilience and poise.”

When it comes to the choice of outfit, James believes Kate chose exactly that because she didn’t want to draw too much attention to herself.

“There was a hint of discretion or maybe a desire to not upstage in the way Kate’s hat brim was tilted to partially hide her face in the carriage but there were some turning to smile and some smiling conversations with her three children,” she said.

“Her wave to the crown involved closed rather than spread fingers and it was a quick, subtle movement of acknowledgement, again suggesting a desire to avoid stealing the attention on the celebration of the King’s birthday.”

 A recent article suggests that Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, might be thinking about leaving her royal duties. A source from the Palace says that the constant pressure of royal life is affecting her physical and mental health.

Kate hasn’t made a final decision yet, but she keeps postponing her return to royal duties after having abdominal surgery in January.

 Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s divorce has been very public, and now there’s new information causing more conflict. A former security guard who worked for them is making troubling accusations against Jolie for her actions while they were married.

According to court papers now in the media, Brad Pitt’s lawyers claim a former security guard named Tony Webb was told by Jolie not to let the children talk to Pitt during his visits.

The documents also say Jolie tried to make the security guards sign legal agreements called non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) to keep quiet about this.

These papers are part of a long legal fight between Jolie and Pitt over their shared Château Miraval vineyard. The case involves arguments about NDAs and other issues that have been going on for years.

According to the documents, Tony Webb worked as the head of Angelina Jolie’s security team for twenty years, continuing in that role for about four years after she and Brad Pitt divorced.

Webb said that Jolie made him and his team sign NDAs (non-disclosure agreements) about many personal and professional aspects of her and her family’s life.

After Jolie and Pitt started their divorce, they had a big fight over who would take care of their six children. The documents say Webb got calls from Jolie’s representative. They told him to remind his team that they signed NDAs with Jolie. They warned that if they spoke in the custody case, Jolie might sue them.

Webb said that he had conveyed the message to his contractors, and both of them confirmed that they would testify if they were to be subpoenaed.

The documents further claimed that “one of them told Webb that ‘he would testify about statements he overheard that Ms. Jolie made to the children, encouraging them to avoid spending time with Mr. Pitt during custody visits.’”

The documents also stated that the “the two security contractors both testified” despite being threated with being sued and shortly after, Mr. Webb’s company was fired by Jolie.

Webb himself does not claim to have heard Jolie’s directive instructing the children not to interact with Pitt during custody visits. He now also works for Pitt.

Jolie’s attorney, Paul Murphy has since then addressed the media over this matter. He said in a statement, “Mr. Pitt’s continued attempt to equate common NDAs for security personnel and housekeepers covering confidential information employees learn at work, with him demanding an expanded NDA to ensure the continued coverup of his deplorable actions remains shameful.” “This case is not about NDAs in general, but about power and control. All Angelina has ever wanted was separation and health, with positive relationships between all members of their family, including Mr. Pitt. She looks forward to the day when he is finally able to let her go,” the statement further read.

The latest filing comes after over a month after Jolie’s lawyer filed documents claiming that Pitt had been physically abusive toward her even before the alleged infamous plane incident of 2016. That incident, according to documents, was the final straw in asking for a divorce.

The motion that Jolie’s legal team filed in early April, most revolved around the dispute over their shares of ownership in their French winery estate, Château Miraval.

Her legal team filed a motion asking the court to compel Pitt and his legal team to provide “responses” and “documents” that explained why the actor “suddenly conditioned his purchase of Jolie’s share of Miraval on her agreeing to a greatly expanded NDA now covering Pitt’s personal misconduct, whether related to Miraval or not.”

Jolie firmly claims that this move to demand NDAs was Pitt’s attempt to “cover up” the alleged abuse against Jolie and their children.

Pitt was never charged with a crime after authorities investigated the 2016 plane incident.

In contrast to what Jolie’s legal team is saying, Pitt’s lawyers allege that it was Jolie and her team who requested a “broader” NDA.

How much has actually changed? Especially when it comes to advancements in technology. It can be rather scary to look back and see just how much has evolved. But, it can also be quite refreshing!

Remember this “thing” from the 1930s? Unless you were around back then, chances are you won’t know what it is. Don’t worry, you are not alone. It’s a 1930’s vacuum cleaner called the Hercules! Quite odd-looking, isn’t it? Can you guess how it worked?

The Retro Vacuum Cleaner
You would be completely forgiven for not knowing what this contraption is. But, we guess you really want to know! This funny-looking item that looks like a flask or some sort of carrier is actually a 1930’s vacuum cleaner, known as the Hercules! This retro vacuum is a far cry from the hoovers we have today. In fact, right now, I am watching my Roomba® clean my floor while I type this! Can you imagine what life back then must have been like? How exciting and innovative a machine like this was for the time? And yet, today, we all take for granted just how easy our lives have become thanks to technology and progression.

The Hercules Vacuum cleaner was a very stylish and sophisticated machine back then. The one pictured above was covered in crocodile skin, making it quite an expensive purchase. What made it even more of a luxurious item is that it was sold during the great depression – a time when many families were not even able to make ends meet, let alone buy a Hercules. If you did know what this item was, try showing your kids and see if they manage to guess! They definitely won’t know what this is!

The Humble Beginnings
Did you know the humble broom was not even perfected until the year 1797? A farmer from Massachusetts decided to create one that worked properly after watching his wife struggle to sweep. Soon, his broom, known as broomcorn, became a household name. Of course, as time went by, people got lazier! A few new sweepers and brooms came and went, and it wasn’t until the 1860s when Daniel Hess created the first real vacuum cleaner. According to his patent: “The nature of my invention consists in drawing fine dust and dirt through the machine by means of a draft of air.”

Then, in 1869, Ives McGaffey of Chicago took it even further. Although, his design was actually harder to use than a regular broom. His patent reads: “The accumulation of dust and dirt in dwelling-houses is a source of great annoyance to all good housekeepers… to obviate these difficulties is the object of my invention.” Sadly, his invention did not take off.

The Revolutionary Hoover
Many designs came and went. But it was James Murray Spangler who revolutionized the vacuum cleaner. A Humble Janitor, aged 60, living in Canton, Ohio, James slaved away to perfect his design. It even took a toll on his health. His machine was better than the rest because not only was it upright, but it was also portable. The crude machine worked well, sucking dirt and blowing it out the back into the attached pillowcase. Spangler patented it in 1907 and quit his job, opening the Electric Suction Sweeper Company.

“It used a ceiling fan motor and paddle blades to create the air flow… he used a leather belt and journaled it to a rotating brush that he had gotten out of a carpet sweeper… No one was able to get the carpet that clean because they didn’t have a motor-driven brush.“

The Hoover was then born when he ran into financial trouble, selling his company to his cousin, Susan Hoover!

As we look back on the evolution of vacuum cleaners, we can’t help but appreciate how far we’ve come. Who would have thought that a contraption like the Hercules would eventually lead to the convenience of modern-day vacuum cleaners like the Hoover? It’s truly amazing to see how technology has transformed our lives and made our daily chores so much easier. Michael Strahan’s Daughter Reveals Heartbreaking Brain Cancer Struggle!

Michael Strahan’s daughter, Isabella, recently talked openly about her ongoing fight with brain cancer. In a heartfelt video on her YouTube channel called “Vlog 8: Recovering from Chemo at home,” the brave 20-year-old described the intense physical pain she’s going through during her treatment.

Isabella explained how agonizing the pain is, comparing it to a “heart attack.” She talked about trying to ease her headache by using an ice pack on her newly shaved head. She honestly shared, “Everything hurts,” and mentioned how her eyes, mouth, and jaw feel strained.

Isabella bravely shared about the intense pain she’s experiencing. She described her eyes feeling strained and painful when she looks to the sides. She compared the discomfort in her mouth to having all her teeth pulled out without replacements, saying even her jaw and tongue hurt when she drinks water.

Isabella admitted she would rather have radiation or brain surgery than endure chemotherapy because of the extreme pain it causes her. She called this journey the toughest and longest she’s faced, expressing worries about possible complications like heart pain, vision loss, or tooth decay.

Despite these challenges, Isabella is grateful to be home and sleeping in her own bed after being in the hospital. While she felt safe there, she finds comfort in familiar surroundings. Her vlog also showed moments from her hospital stay and special times with her father, Michael Strahan, and her twin sister, Sophia.

Isabella shared this update after she and her father talked about her illness on Good Morning America. She explained how she first noticed headaches and feeling sick, but didn’t worry until she woke up one day throwing up blood. Doctors later found out she had a serious brain tumor called a medulloblastoma. Michael Strahan was away from Good Morning America for more than three weeks because of “personal family matters,” though he didn’t say exactly what was happening.

Even with all these challenges, Isabella is staying strong. She finished her last round of radiation treatment in January after freezing her eggs because of her illness. Our thoughts are with Isabella and her family during this difficult time.

Prince William’s outing for the 80th anniversary of D-Day was planned before the family’s annual Trooping the Colour military event in June. Although Kate Middleton was made the Colonel of the Irish Guards in 2022, she won’t be doing the Colonel’s Review this year.

A source revealed that Kate won’t return to public life or her official duties until her doctors say she’s ready, and there’s no word on when that will be.

“Princess Kate is still focusing on her recovery, but she has been seen running errands with her family,” the source shared. “Her main priority is her young children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. She is getting full support from Prince William, who is dedicated to her recovery. Her mother and siblings are also helping, along with other family members who are supporting her children.”

Sabrina, 18, was on the phone with one of her friends when she heard the front door open. It was her dad, Pete, who worked as a coal miner. The young woman was quick to end up the conversation because she didn’t want her dad to hear her talking about her upcoming graduation. The reason why was that she didn’t want him to attend it because she was afraid her friends would mock her because of his “dirty” looks.

Pete entered the home with a smile on his face, carrying two packages in his hands. He told Sabrina he had a present for her and left the packages on the table.

Ever since she lost her mom, Pete was there for his daughter. He understood her and always respected her privacy.

Sabrina was happy for the presents, but she always considered her dad not worthy of her attention only because his hands and face were blackened from the coal. She didn’t even let him touch her things.

Eager to see what’s inside the packages, she opened one of them and saw a gorgeous dress inside. When she opened the other, she saw a suit. Confused, she asked her dad why there was a suit there.

“It’s for me, honey! I have to look amazing…it’s your graduation, after all!” Pete said happily.

Hearing these words, Sabrina bit her lips in frustration. She threw the present and said, “Dad, I don’t want you to come. All my friends and their parents will be attending. I don’t want them to laugh at me after seeing you, alright??”

Pete was left in complete shock. He had no idea his daughter had such a low opinion of him.

“What did you say?” he asked with confusion.

“Dad, my friends’ fathers are from reputed backgrounds. They are all rich and look like celebrities. I don’t want you standing among them like a…like a mess…dad, I hope you understand. No matter how well you dress, anyone can easily guess you are a coal miner by just looking at your dirty face and hands. I don’t want them to laugh at me. Please don’t come to my graduation.”

These words felt like a sharp knife.

Sabrina then thanked him for the dress and entered her room, slamming the door behind her.

Pete was devastated, but he wasn’t mad. He knew his daughter was too young to understand the weight of the words she uttered so he still decided to attend her graduation ceremony believing she would change her mind.

On the big day, Pete asked his daughter if he could at least drop her to the venue, but she said there was no need for that. Pete said it was alright and wished her to have a wonderful night.

Before leaving the house, Sabrina turned to him and said, “And dad, don’t come, alright?? I trust you won’t. Bye…see ya!”

But once she was gone, Pete got dressed. There was no change he was missing on such an important milestone.

Shortly after, Pete entered the venue and settled in the section designated for parents. He enthusiastically applauded as students accepted their awards, eagerly waiting for Sabrina to receive hers.

“Next, we call Miss Sabrina Parker!” the host announced.

Pete ran to the front and started filming his girl. He was overjoyed, but Sabrina was shocked when he spotted him.

“Congrats, darling!” Pete shouted. “I’m so proud of you!”

But Sabrina’s response was far from enthusiastic. Instead of smiling, she let out a groan and joined her friends. She couldn’t wait for the ceremony to end so she could confront her dad.

Suddenly, she heard the host say, “Mr. Parker, can we please have you on the stage.”

This added to her nervousness.

“Thanks, Mr. Lauren! Good evening, ladies and gentlemen!” Pete said when he took the mic. “Can we have the slideshow, please?!”

The audience and Sabrina were taken aback as the hall dimmed and the projector sprang to life. Pete had crafted a touching video, showcasing cherished moments of him and Sabrina from her childhood up to the eve of her graduation. Prior to the ceremony, he had arranged a meeting with the principal and staff, detailing his plan to surprise his daughter. Consequently, he was granted special permission to execute the surprise immediately after Sabrina received her diploma

“I love my daughter. Sabrina, I’m so proud of you. I hope your mother would be equally proud if she were here today. Emma, if you are here by any chance, you can see for yourself! You told me I could not raise my daughter alone, but there can be no other dad on earth who is as proud as me now. Congrats, Sabrina…we did it!”

The video, along with her dad’s words, touched Sabrina’s heart. She started crying tears of joy as she joined her dad on stage and gave him a hug. “Thank you so much, dad! I’m sorry,” she said.

The night was over and on their way home, Pete decided it was about time he shared a truth with his daughter. He waited her to turn 18 and be old enough to be able to handle the reality.

Gathering courage, he turned to Sabrina and told her her mother wasn’t dead. She was alive and lived in the same town.

Sabrina almost collapsed. She couldn’t understand why her dad would lie her about something like that for so long.

With tears in his eyes, Pete explained that her mother never wanted her. When she fell pregnant she wanted to leave Sabrina behind and put her up for adoption. When Pete told her not to do it, she confessed that Pete wasn’t even the baby’s real father but offered him to take her and raise her if he wanted to as long as he stick to the story that her mom was dead.

Pete couldn’t let Sabrina end up in foster care or be adopted by complete strangers, so he decided to accept her as his own before divorcing her mother.

“I could not see you as someone else’s child. You were my world, and you are my everything today,” Pete cried.

“You’re not my real father??” Sabrina asked again, wanting to be sure in Pete’s words.

“Darling, I may not be your birth father, but I don’t love you any less. Forget what I just told you. You are always MY DAUGHTER regardless of anything and everything.”

“I’m sorry, dad. I feel ashamed of myself for hurting you. I called you ‘dirty’ and ‘smelly’ without knowing about your sacrifices for me. What would have happened to me if you didn’t step up for me and raised me? Please forgive me.”

That was the first and only time Pete and Sabrina talked about her mother. They decided to leave the past where it belonged. But from that moment on, Sabrina was never again ashamed of her dad. On the contrary, she couldn’t be prouder Pete was the man who raised her. She was happy to call him dad.
